It's a new year!
It's a new year, and we have several new exciting products!
Neptun has come out with an automated glass handling and seaming system, called Bravo
This is an amazing system, that will pick up a piece of glass, move it to a docking station, seam all four sides, and then move the glass off to another station for offloading.
Jack and I saw the system last week, and it is short of amazing!
I'll be posting a video on Youtube in the next day or so.
Something else we have that I personally think will make a big impact in the industry is the IMMMES (yes, that's 3 m's in the name) Water treatment system.
Imagine a 100% closed loop system, that filters out the glass swarf down to less than 10 microns.
No chemicals to balance, no bearings to fuss with (like in a centrifuge) no plates to pressure wash.
Totally automatic. The glass swarf comes out in dry "bricks" into a disposable bag.
You know the old saying, "the cleaner you keep your machines, the longer they last"
Imagine no longer having to clean out your tanks on your edger. No water bills. No mess from glass swarf. And if you're dumping swarf down the drain, no drains that will eventually need to be replaced.
We have a system going into a major fabricator in April!

Howdy!
Less than a week from the big move in at Glassbuild!
I'll be posting pictures here and on our facebook page, so you will be able to "see" our booth go from a 50x50 space to the finished item.
We also just upgraded our tower, so we have high expectations for that as well.
As most (if not all) of our machines will be actually running, we have a small army of the best technicians on the planet to get things up and running.
Stay tuned for the "greatest show on earth"!

Closed Loop Water Recycling system!
Matodi is now partnered with IMMMES of Italy.
These fine folks manufacture closed loop systems that use no chemicals, and the water that comes out is less than 10 microns. That's clean enough to use in a CNC!
I'm pretty excited about this system, as the potential benefits to the environment and machines (not to mention the operators that don't have to handle glass with traces of chemicals on it) is fantastic!

Glassbuild!
We at Matodi are already in the planning stages of the Glassbuild 2017 booth. We'll have one of the (if not the largest) machinery booths at the show, and we will be having "all kinds of" deals on show machinery!

Glass Edger from Battellino!
Another fine machine from the good folks at Batellino is the FP6 straight line edging machine. Built like a tank, for years of use. Quality made in Italy!
Stainless Steel used in the wet areas, and quality components used throughout.
The Battellino Bevel 400 straight line beveller!
One of the fine machines we'll have at Glassbuild will be the Bevel 400 from Battellino. This amazing machine can produce a 1 3/8" bevel at reasonable speeds, with perfect quality bevels and miters that go to the corner every time. Battellino builds'em like tanks; so if you want something that will produce quality bevels for years to come, this is it. And, it's literally half the price of the "Big B" bevellers!

Who's coming to Glasstec?
As Ed Sullivan once said, "It's a really big shooooow!
Glastec in Dusseldorf, Germany is of course one of the biggest and best shows in the industry.
This is the place to see the newest innovations in the glass industry.
In addition to one of the best shows in the industry, Dusseldorf is also a very nice city to visit.
We at Matodi will be there "in force", so if you're planning to go, let us know and we should be able to point you in the right direction as far as your machinery needs are concerned.

Matodi to attend the 10th annual Glass Day New England!
